DEVOTIONAL: FEAR & THE LEO WIFE
One question many police wives hear is, "what if something terrible happens to your husband at work?" Nothing in this life is ever certain, but we cannot let the uncertainty of what our spouse's shift may bring turn into fear. In Exodus 4, God granted Moses the strength to overcome his fear of speaking to a crowd, and He can do the same for us as we go through each day worried taht something may happen to our LEO. In addition, I Peter 3:3-6 tells us not to give way to fear - God can release us from long-held fears if we ask Him to. I think many LEO wives struggle with the uncertainties each day can bring, but bringing these fears to the feet of Jesus can help us make it through the days where we are scared for our spouses and what our future might hold. I hope this helps all the LEO wives out there who might be feeling fearful about what their LEO must do every day. God can bring you peace and grant you courage!!
