WAYS TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR POLICE
There are so many ways that we can show our support to our local police departments and they need to be shown that we love and appreciate them more than ever!! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
-Make cookies (Have your kids help! It's important to teach our kids to respect law enforcement early on!).
-Drop letters of appreciation off at the department.
-Create a "survival kit" for officers that includes items such as a lifesaver (to remind them of how many times they have been one) and gum (to help everyone "stick together").
-Leave a note on a police car that simply says "thanks for all you do."
-When dining out, if you see another officer, pay for his/her meal.
